A report of possible drug activity on Burdette Street led to the arrest of a 56 year old Henderson man.
Henderson Police responded to the report around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday where they say an officer observed 57 year old Terry Hardrick hiding in a wood line. Police say Hardrick had two outstanding warrants in Henderson County and was taken into custody. During a search, police reportedly found a small baggie containing a white crystal substance that officers say Hardrick admitted was meth.
Hardrick was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a Bench Warrant for Contempt of Court, and a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear.
