Henderson man arrested on drug trafficking and possession charges

Authorities say a disturbance landed a Henderson man behind bars on multiple drug charges.

Henderson Police report officers responded to the disturbance around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the home of 31 year old Allen Rodez at 434 South Adams Street. Upon entering the home, officers say there was a strong smell of marijuana, as well as a glass pipe, a digital scale, a marijuana cigarette, rolling papers, and a container of loose marijuana sitting in plain view.

According to police, Rodez was taken into custody on an active Bench Warrant. During a search of the 31 year old man, police say they found a baggie containing several pills in his pocket along with suspected crack cocaine.

Rodez was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for a Bench Warrant, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (drug unspecified), Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Cocaine), Trafficking in Marijuana (less than 8 oz) 1st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
