Henderson man accused of importing and trafficking heroin

A Henderson man is accused of importing heroin following a drug investigation that resulted in two people’s arrests.

Members of the Henderson Joint Task Force and Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations West served a search warrant in the 1000 block of Amberfield Court in Henderson.  Officers seized more than 1,800 grams of methamphetamine and more than 50 grams of heroin.

Joseph Wallace, 53, of Henderson, was arrested and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center on charges of trafficking in a first-degree controlled substance (methamphetamine), importing heroin – firearm enhanced, and trafficking in a first-degree controlled substance – firearm enhanced. Wallace’s bond has been set at $250,000.

Jeremy Booker, 52, of Henderson, was arrested and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Centerfor possession of a first-degree controlled substance (methamphetamine).  No bond was listed for Booker on the Henderson County Detention Center’s website.
