A Henderson man is accused of assaulting two police officers while resisting arrest.
Henderson Police Department said they were called to the 2300 block of Adams Lane at approximately 10:21 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21st in reference to a disturbance. Charles Roberson, 44, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.
Police said Roberson resisted the arrest and assaulted two officers. He was charged with two counts of third-degree assault and one count of resisting arrest.
He was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center, where he is being held on $600 bonds. He’s scheduled for a court appearance on Thursday, Dec. 28th.
