The Green River Area Wellness Mission is a no-cost healthcare event taking place from June 15 to June 25 at South Middle School, located at 800 South Alves Street in Henderson.
The City of Henderson, Department of Defense and Green River Area Development District have partnered for this free event, which is for everyone ages three and up.
There is no ID or income requirement.
During the Green River Area Wellness Mission, military personnel will offer sports physicals, basic medical and wellness exams, vision exams, glasses fabrication, dental exams, extractions and fillings.
Even pets are covered. Veterinarian services will be offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 23-24 at the Henderson County Fairgrounds.
The hours of operation are as follows:
- Saturday, June 15: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday, June 16: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday, June 17: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 18: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 19: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thursday, June 20: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Friday, June 21: 8 a.m. to noon.
- Saturday, June 22: Closed.
- Sunday, June 23: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday, June 24: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 25: 8 a.m. to noon.
