Bridge scheduled to be replaced later this year
PADUCAH, Ky. (June 16, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has reduced the load limit to five tons on Kentucky 120 near the Crittenden-Webster County Line.
The Kentucky 120 Tradewater River Overflow Bridge at Crittenden County mile point 16.542 is restricted to a 5-ton load limit effective immediately.
The load rating was ordered reduced after a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet inspector found significant deterioration of the bridge substructure. The bridge is one of two bridges that cross a slough immediately west of the main Tradewater River Bridge between Marion and Providence.
