Fire burns at southwest Indiana paper shredding business

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say a large fire is burning at a southwest Indiana business that handles paper shredding.

No injuries are reported from the fire at Piranha Mobile Shredding and Recycling in Evansville, which was spotted about 4:30 a.m. Friday.

WFIE-TV reports a fire official says paper inside the building could burn all day and officials don’t believe anyone was inside the building at the time.

The Evansville Courier & Press reports street traffic is shut down near the fire. Several departments are on the scene and crews are fighting the fire from outside the building.
