With only five entries thus far for the Morganfield Christmas Parade, Union County Tourism Director Paul Monsour is urging more people to participate in the event and to to pick-up and return an parade entry application.
There are several locations to pick-up an application for the Morganfield Parade, which is Sunday afternoon, November 22nd, at 4:00.
Monsour says there will be other events going on in downtown the day of the parade.
And speaking of open houses, Creative Touch business owner Vicki Ervin will not only be opening the doors to her business next Saturday and Sunday for the Christmas Open House, but she is also opening her heart and will donate 10% of your purchase to the Union County Animal Shelter.
This year’s parade theme is “Jingle Bell Rock”, and you still have time to pick up and return your parade entry application by the deadline Wednesday, November 18th. However, Monsour says he will accept late entries and will try to get you into the parade.
