Work scheduled for completion on Wednesday
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (July 31, 2020) – The work currently underway on U.S. 60 in Union County will include a 10-foot lane for the eastbound direction. The 10-foot lane will be in place on Monday morning (Aug. 3) and will remain in place until Tuesday morning.
Contractors will be adding earth embankment and installing guard rail to the inside of the curve. This work is an adjustment to the flood mitigation project completed in 2019.The work will take place between mile markers 24.9 and 25.4 and is scheduled for completion on Wednesday, weather permitting.
Flaggers will be on site for traffic control. Motorists can anticipate reduced speeds.
