Authorities say one person has died as the result of a two vehicle crash on the Southbound US-41 Bi-State Memorial Twin Bridge. Henderson dispatch says the crash was called in around 4:30 am CDT. Authorities say the Northbound US 41 Bridge is being closed periodically to allow some Southbound Traffic to come across the Ohio River. Traffic heading Northbound on US 41 is backed up along the 41-North Strip and around the Henderson Bypass. No word yet on when the Southbound Bridge will be reopened but crews are working as quickly as possible. The names of those involved have not yet been released. More details as they become available.
