Diane Marie Sheffer age 74, of Uniontown, KY left her earthly family to take her place in Heaven on March 19, 2019. After years of illness, her body’s heart gave out. Her spirit never did. Before she passed she saw and spoke with nearly all of her family, friends, and her priest. She was alert and aware and ready to go. When she went to sleep afterwards, she did not regain consciousness. She was in the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice at Henderson Hospital campus. Diane loved life especially her family and her grandchildren. She loved reading, television, and card playing; especially poker. Diane was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Bernard “Dick” Hagan and Ellen Gertrude Girten Hagan; her brothers, John Edward “Little Buddie” Hagan, Joseph Bernard “Sonny” Hagan, Harold Wayne Hagan, and James David Hagan; her sisters, Charlotte Ann Norris and Sue Catherine Beard.

Sean Patrick Sheffer and wife Jessica of Morganfield
8 Grandchildren: Hannah, Gavin, Chloe, Gabriel, Gatlin, and Sutton Sheffer, Grace and Shelby Darr
2 Brothers: William Jerry Hagan and wife Gail of Evansville, IN
Thomas A. “Pete” Hagan and wife Laura of Morganfield
1 Sister: Nancy Ellen Brewer and husband Bob of Uniontown
The service will be 10AM Friday, March 22, 2019 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Uniontown. Fr. Randy Howard will officiate. The visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday with Rosary beginning at 7:30PM and 8:30 until service time on Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
