Debate watch party planned at University of Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The University of Louisville is holding a presidential debate watch party for millennials.

The school says in a statement the watch party will begin at 8 p.m. Monday at Ekstrom Library’s Chao Auditorium on the Belknap Campus. Millennial voters and the general public are invited to attend.

The first presidential debate of the 2016 general election campaign will be held at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and GOP nominee Donald Trump will face off beginning at 9 p.m.

The Student Activities Board at the University of Louisville is hosting the event as part of an effort to for young voters to express their opinions about the upcoming election.
