Motorists traveling KY 270 in Union County need to be aware of daytime closures this week.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd reports KY 270 will be closed from between KY 141 and the Union-Webster County line in the Bordley Ditch area to allow for ditching and drainage work. He says the work had to be postponed due to wintry weather conditions.
The road will be closed around 8:00 each morning and is expected to reopen to traffic around 3:00 each afternoon through Friday.
According to Todd, there is not a marked detour.
