A Corydon man was killed Wednesday night when his pickup crashed into a tree on HWY 266.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to the scene of the wreck around 6:00pm Wednesday.
Authorities say an investigation revealed that 53 year old Curtis Posey, of HWY 266 in Corydon, was driving a pickup truck on US41A when he turned onto HWY 266 and the vehicle exited the roadway for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree.
According to the report, Posey was transported to the emergency room at Methodist Hospital ER where he was pronounced dead from injuries
sustained in the wreck.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the collision.
