If you plan on traveling in Daviess County Thursday, you need to be aware of a road closure.
According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials, KY 405 will closed around 8:00 Thursday morning between KY 1831/Wrights Landing Road and Saur Road south of the Maceo community to allow a cross drain to be replaced.
The road is expected to reopen to traffic around 3:30 Thursday afternoon.
Motorists who regularly travel this section of KY 405 should make advance alternate travel plans for Thursday.
Officials indicate there will not be a marked detour.
