The city of Henderson will be starting milling the streets and alleys of Henderson starting the week of Monday September 16th. This is for upcoming patching, paving and repair projects around the city.
The estimated work time for these projects is around two to three weeks. But if weather conditions or other outside factors affect these projects the estimated work time schedule will be subject to change.
There will be temporary closures or delays that will occur while working on roads and alleys.
Here is the following roads that are going to be apart of the patching, paving, and repair projects.
6th Street from North Adams to Lambert Street
14th Street from North Elm Street to North Green Street
Frontier Drive from U.S. Highway 60 East to Tippecanoe Trail
Garden Mile Road from Airline Road to the Archery Center’s gravel lot
Harding Avenue from North Green Street to North Adams Street
North Julia Street from 1st Street to Center Street
Spring Garden Road from 2nd Street to Heather Lane
Stadium Drive from Garden Mile Road to Gardengate Drive
Washington Street from McKinley Avenue to North Lincoln Avenue
If there is any road closures are required, there will be detours set up alongside flaggers and sings that will direct the flow traffic while construction is happening.
It’s suggested by the city of Henderson for residents to best avoid the listed streets as much as possible. Residents will also be asked that their vehicles will be off the listed streets at around 6 am each day while the road and alley projects are being done.
