Carolyn Nalley Cook, age 67 of Uniontown, KY died Sunday 11/25/18 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. She was secretary at St. Ann School for many years and also worked at Gibbs Die Casting in Henderson. She was a past President and Treasurer for VFW Ladies Auxillary. Carolyn enjoyed gardening, camping, and going to yard sales. She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd & Evelyn Nelson; husband Doyle Cook; sisters Nancy Pendley, Mary Lloyd Brown, and Helen Waddell; brothers William Nelson and Charles R. Nelson. Survivors include: 2 daughters Leah & Allan Olson of Morganfield and Amy & Joey Clevidence of Uniontown; 2 sons John & Crystal Nalley of Rockingham, NC and James “J.T.” & Stephanie Nalley of Morganfield; 3 sisters Isabelle Wright of Sturgis, KY, Donna Werner of Henderson, KY & Judy Robertson of Morganfield, KY; 1 brother Truman Nelson of Henderson, KY; 10 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday 11/29/18 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday and 10 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
