Asphalt Patching on I-69 and U.S. 41 in Henderson

Patching efforts to take place Dec. 2 thru Dec. 4

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Dec.1, 2020) –  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of asphalt patching operations beginning tomorrow, Dec. 2, and continuing through Friday, Dec. 4. 

The repairs are needed to seal the pavement and prevent further damage to these sections of highway.

The work will take place between 7am and 5pm each day. 

  • Wednesday – Dec. 2
    • I-69 – North and Southbound directions
    • Lane restrictions will be in place between 147.0 to 148.0 mile markers
  • Thursday – Dec. 3
    • U.S. 41 strip southbound
    • Lane restrictions will be in place between 16.0 to 16.5 mile markers
  • Friday – Dec. 4 
    • U.S. 41 strip northbound
    • Lane restrictions will be in place between 16.0 to 18.5 mile markers

 Inclement weather may push the remainder of the work to Saturday, Dec. 5.

 The asphalt patching work is scheduled for completion on Friday, weather and temperature limitations permitting. Inclement weather may push any remaining work to Saturday morning, Dec. 6.
