Arrests Made in Bank Robbery

Hopkinsville Police Department detectives secured arrest warrants for two Trigg County residents for the robbery of the U.S. Bank on South Main Street in Hopkinsville, KY, that occurred around noon Tuesday.

According to police, 34 year old Sabrina Lee Waterhouse was taken into custody in Syracuse, NY, by the Syracuse Police Department on the strength of a 2nd Degree Robbery warrant. Police day 39 year old William Douglas Childs II was arrested in Trigg County by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department on the strength of a 2nd Degree Robbery warrant.

Authorities report the Waterhouse allegedly walked into the bank on Tuesday and handed the bank teller a note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, police say she was last seen leaving the bank on foot walking south on South Main Street. Childs is alleged to have been in company with Waterhouse during the course of the robbery.
