Anna Marjorie Alvey, age 88 of Morganfield, KY died Wednesday March 13, 2019 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. She was born April 28, 1930 to late Hanley & Philomena Alvey.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers Raymond Alvey & Virgil Alvey, 3 sisters Mary Lois Ramirez, Irene McBride, and Helen Alvey.
She is survived by one sister, Betty Cavins of Morganfield; 10 nieces & 8 nephews: and a number of great nieces and great nephews.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a long-time employee of the Ben Franklin store in Morganfield and later a bookkeeper for P’Pool’s Auto Parts. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and the company of her family and cats.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Sunday 3/17/2019 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield, KY. Fr. Freddie Byrd will officiate. Visitation will be 12PM until service time on Sunday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Morganfield, KY.
