A 57 year old man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Union County Sunday night.
Kentucky State Police reports Jeffery Winders was driving a Corvette east on Onan Dyer Road off of US 60 West around 7:00 Sunday night when he failed to negotiate a sharp left hand turn and ran off the road into a deep earth embankment.
According to state police, Winders was transported by ambulance to Methodist Hospital Union County for treatment of injuries.
The news release from KSP does not provide much detail, including the city where Winders resides.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office and Union County EMS assisted state police at the scene of the wreck.
