4 Henderson, 4 Owensboro Residents Appointed to State Boards and Commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 24, 2016) – Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Beverly H. Griffith has been appointed to the Personnel Board.

Beverly H. Griffith, of Owensboro, is a retired corporate attorney. Griffith will serve for the remainder of an unexpired term ending January 1, 2019.

The Kentucky Personnel Board promotes merit principles in government service and the improvement of personnel standards in the state service. The Kentucky Personnel Board hears the appeals of classified employees and other employees who believe they have been penalized without cause. The Kentucky Personnel Board has the authority to conduct investigations of merit system violations and to promulgate administrative regulations concerning the state personnel system.

Rebecca D. Pullum, Nathan T. Butler, William L. Dixon and John A. Logan III have been appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 51st Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky.

Rebecca D. Pullum, of Henderson, is a major account executive for the Lang Company. Pullum will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2018.

Nathan T. Butler, of Henderson, is a pastor for Water’s Edge Church. Butler will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2018.

William L. Dixon, of Henderson, is the director of cultural diversity for Henderson Community College. Dixon will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2020.

John A. Logan III, of Henderson, is a physician. Dr. Logan will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2020.

Arthur Michael Gray, Charlotte R. Burton, Roderick Searcy and Hugh Patrick Bosley have been appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 6th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky.

Arthur Michael Gray, of Owensboro, is a retired school administrator. Gray will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2018.

Charlotte R. Burton, of Owensboro, is a community volunteer. Burton will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2018.

Roderick Searcy, of Owensboro, is the executive director for H. L. Neblett Center. Searcy will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2020.

Hugh Patrick Bosley, of Owensboro, is a co-owner of Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn. Bosley will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2020.

Keith Rogers has been appointed to the Agriculture Water Quality Authority.

Keith Rogers, of Glendale, is the Chief of Staff for the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and will be representing the department during his service. Mr. Rogers will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending October 1, 2016.

The Authority is a multidiscipline peer group that evaluates, develops and improves best-management practices in conservation plans, compliance planes and forest stewardship management plans. The Authority also establishes statewide and regional agriculture water quality plans and otherwise promotes soil and water conservation activities that protect waters of the Commonwealth from the adverse impacts of agriculture operations within the Commonwealth.

Charles Lee Adams has been reappointed to the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation Board of Directors.

Charles Lee Adams, of Vanceburg, will be representing horticultural farmers and serve for a term expiring June 26, 2020.

The Agricultural Finance Corporation Board of Directors governs the Corporation, which has the directive to improve and promote the health and general welfare of the people of Kentucky through the promotion of agriculture within the Commonwealth.

Todd M. Schneider has been reappointed to the Kenton County Airport Board.

Todd M. Schneider, of Ft. Thomas, is the President and Chief Operating Officer for Cintas Corporation. Schneider will serve for a term expiring July 1, 2020. This appointment is effective July 1, 2016.

Members of the Kenton County Airport Board assist in the promotion, development and improvement of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and its services to aviation generally.
