25 mile pursuit leads to arrest of Webster Co. woman and Evansville, IN. man

A Webster County woman and an Evansville man are facing drug, wanton endangerment and several other charges after a 25 mile pursuit in Christian County Friday night.

Kentucky State Police reports a trooper attempted to stop a vehicle for a minor traffic violation around 7:00 Friday night, but instead of stopping the vehicle sped up and began to flee. KSP says other troopers from Post 2 were able to successfully deploy road spikes, but the vehicle continued to flee north on Pennyrile Parkway after hitting the road spikes until the driver 30 year old Latasha Adamson of Providence failed to make a U-turn near the 42 mile marker. Once the vehicle came to a stop, authorities report Adamson and her passenger, 27 year Joshua Rheinlander of Evansville, IN., jumped out of the vehicle and began to flee on foot, but were arrested after a short foot pursuit.

3) Speeding x2
4) Criminal Mischief, 2nd Degree
5) Leaving the Scene of an Accident
6) Operating on a Suspended/revoked operator’s license
7) Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree
8) Failure to give right of way to an Emergency Vehicle
9) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs, 1st Offense, Aggravated

Rheinlander was charged with:

1) Outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear (Butler County)
