ST. LOUIS, Mo., September 6, 2021 – The Cardinals are back at Busch Stadium for seven straight games starting with a four-games versus the defending World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers (Sept. 6-9), followed by a three-game weekend series with the Cincinnati Reds (Sept. 10-12).  St. Louis is currently 3.0 games back of the second NL Wild Card spot.  Fans can view a full list of homestand highlights at cardinals.com/homestand.

  • Wainwright’s Winners: Adam Wainwright will host a group from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri for tonight’s game as part of his Wainwright’s Winners player ticket program.

·         National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Day: Cardinals Hall of Fame catcher Ted Simmons and former Cardinals outfielder Larry Walker will officially be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during the museum’s annual Induction Ceremony in Cooperstown, NY beginning at 12:30 PM on MLB Network.

  • Heart & Hustle Award Presentation: Before the game, Tommy Edman will be recognized as the team’s 2021 MLBPAA Heart & Hustle Award recipient.  The esteemed award honors active players who demonstrate a passion for the game of baseball and best embody the values, spirit and traditions of the game.

2011 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY REUNION

The St. Louis Cardinals will host a 10-year anniversary reunion of the 2011 World Series Championship team at Busch Stadium on Saturday, September 18, presented by Heartland Coca-Cola.

Over 25 former players and coaches from the 2011 team, including Cardinals Hall of Famer Chris Carpenter, World Series MVP David Freese, 2011 Cardinals All-Stars Lance Berkman and Matt Holliday, are scheduled to take part in a pregame ceremony before the 6:15 PM game against the visiting San Diego Padres.   Learn more at cardinals.com/2011.

CELEBRATING MIKE SHANNON’S 50 YEARS IN THE BROADCAST BOOTH

The St. Louis Cardinals continue their season-long campaign to honor radio broadcaster Mike Shannon throughout his 50th and final season in the broadcast booth, presented by Budweiser.

BUSCH STADIUM HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS – NEW FOR 2021

A number of policies and protocols are in place to ensure the health and safety of fans, employees, and players in 2021.  Fans are asked to wear masks when entering or circulating in the five indoor ticketed club areas, as well as the Official Team Store, Cardinals Authentics Shops and in all indoor public spaces at Ballpark Village. MLB BALLPARK APP – NEW FOR 2021

The Cardinals have transitioned exclusively to mobile ticket delivery via the MLB Ballpark App for the 2021 season.  Visit cardinals.com/ballparkapp for app instructions, tutorials and FAQ.

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE – NEW FOR 2021

The Cardinals Fan Food Guide is available at cardinals.com/food and via the MLB Ballpark app to help fans locate their favorite food and beverages at Busch Stadium.

Concession locations will only accept credit/debit cards and digital wallet payments (e.g. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay) for payment.  Guests can purchase a debit card using cash at the three Schnucks Grab ‘N’ Go Markets inside Busch Stadium with no fees.  Debit cards are good at any location that accepts credit cards at the ballpark and any retailer outside the stadium.

BUSCH STADIUM PARKING – NEW FOR 2021

Fans can now purchase individual game day parking directly from the Cardinals in the Starr Lot located directly across the street from Gate 2, on the southwest side of Busch Stadium.  Starr Lot parking can be purchased as part of your overall ticket purchase, or separately at cardinals.com/parking.

OFFICIAL TEAM STORE AT BUSCH STADIUM – NEW FOR 2021

The Official Cardinals Team Store at Busch Stadium features the area’s best selection of premium Cardinals merchandise and is open daily from 10 AM–6 PM.  The Team Store will be closed to the public during home games and will close 15 minutes prior to gates opening.

BUSCH STADIUM BOX OFFICE – NEW FOR 2021

The Busch Stadium Box Office is open on game days from 10 AM until one and a half hours after the scheduled game time.  On non-game days, the Box Office is open Monday–Friday from 10 AM–5 PM.  Transactions at the Box Office will be cashless.  Fans can inquire about tickets by calling 314-345-9000.

RE-ENTRY & SMOKING GATE – NEW FOR 2021

In order to provide the safest environment for all guests and staff, guests will not be permitted to exit and re-enter the facility during games.  A designated smoking area is set up at Gate 1 to allow guests access in and out of the stadium if they wish to smoke. The designated smoking area is open from gate opening until the end of the 7th inning.
