PINEVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Two of three inmates who escaped from a jail in southeastern Kentucky are back in custody.
TV station WATE reports (http://bit.ly/2axwl07 ) 27-year-old Gary Mills turned himself in Wednesday in Knox County. That’s after authorities recaptured 28-year-old Bobby Holman in Middlesboro on Tuesday night after the escape from the Bell County Detention Center that morning.
Pineville Police Chief Bill Matthews says the three men walked out through a door that was propped open to cool down the jail. Matthews said the jail has had heating and air conditioning problems, so the staff opened a door and put out an industrial fan to help ventilate the building.
Officials are still searching for 20-year-old Raymond Farr. Anyone with addition information is asked to contact authorities.
