One inmate was recaptured, while another is still on the run after breaking free from the Webster County Detention Center.
Tony Elders and Jodie Crowley escaped custody around 6:35 a.m. on Sunday, with Elders being apprehended at 8:30 a.m. on KY-132 West in Dixon by an off-duty officer. However, Crowley remains at large, prompting the Webster County Sheriff’s Office to seek assistance from the public.
The Kentucky State Police are investigating the escape, with the sheriff’s office providing support. If you spot someone matching Crowley’s description, contact Webster County Central Dispatch at 270-639-5012 or KSP at 270-676-3313.
