The Webster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a domestic dispute near Sebree that ended with the husband dead and the wife hospitalized.
WMSK News tried to contact Webster County Sheriff Frankie Springfield, but he is currently on the scene investigating this case.
Around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, media reports indicate deputies and emergency crews responded to the 66-hundred block of KY 56 East, just west of Sebree, where the sheriff told reporters five children were home when the incident happened.
The coroner told media the body of the man was found in the backyard of the house, but details regarding how he died have not been released at this time. An autopsy is scheduled Thursday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.
Officials indicate the woman is being treated at an area hospital, and at this time, her condition is unknown.
