The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans work zone lane restrictions along a section of KY 492 in UNION County on Thursday, November 29, 2018.
KY 492 in Union County will be restricted to one lane intermittently at milepoint 6.1 to allow geotechnical drilling at the Wash Creek Bridge. This drilling project is to gather sub-surface soil information required to assist with the design of a new bridge to be constructed at this site in the future as part of the Bridging Kentucky Program.
Motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers at this site from time to time during the day on Thursday.
This is along KY 492 just west of the KY 2101 intersection.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and other personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
