A local woman was injured Monday in a single-vehicle wreck in Union County.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Heady, they responded to the wreck around 10:05 a.m. Monday where Veronica Owens of Sturgis lost control of her pickup truck on Caseyville Cemetary Road and ran off the side of the road. He says the truck then went down a hill and rolled-over.
Deputy Heady says Owens was transported by ambulance to Union County Methodist Hospital.
