Green River Area Development District (GRADD) and Owensboro Health will present the Senior Health Resource Forum from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, at the One Health Medical Office Building (adjacent to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital – 1201 Pleasant Valley Road, Owensboro).
Area seniors, caregivers and healthcare providers are invited to come dialogue with a distinguished panel of professionals.
Speakers will include an attorney, a pharmacist, and representatives from home health, assisted living, long term care, hospice, Medicaid waiver (Consumer Directed Option), Senior Medicare Patrol, Owensboro Health Golden Partners, and the State Health Insurance Assistance Program.
“Today’s seniors face a myriad of healthcare options,” said Jiten Shah, GRADD Executive Director. “This event is designed to provide them with reliable, firsthand information they can utilize to make the right decisions.”
