The Providence Police Department arrested five individuals last week, including a man who resisted arrest and fled from officers.

Chief Brent McDowell tells WMSK News 45 year old Danny Woolsey, of Providence, was arrested Thursday, May 19, 2016, for Driving on a DUI Suspended License, his 2nd offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, Resisting Arrest, first degree Fleeing/Evading Police on foot and first degree Criminal Trespass. No other details were released.

The other individuals arrested last week were as follows:

On Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 55 year old Larcella Gaines, of Providence, was arrested on a Bench Warrant from Muhlenberg County.

On Saturday, May 21, 2016, 22 year old Larry Rolley, of Providence, was arrested on a warrant for fourth degree domestic violence assault causing minor injury.

On Sunday, May 22, 2016, Providence Police arrested 34 year old Amanda Walker, of Dixon, for Theft by Unlawful Taking – Shoplifting; and 22 year old Stoy Bratcher, of Fordsville, for Operating on a Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License.
