Two Owensboro residents were injured Wednesday in a single vehicle wreck in Henderson County.
Kentucky State Police reports troopers and emergency personnel responded to the scene of the accident around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday around the 13 mile marker of the Audubon Parkway where 41 year old Serena Rhineberger was driving westbound when her pickup truck hydroplaned and caused the vehicle to exit off the right side shoulder of the roadway and crash into an earth embankment.
According to KSP, Rhineberger and the passenger, 17 year old Kristopher Rhineberger, were transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital and are in stable condition.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Robards and Zion Fire Departments, and Henderson County EMS assisted KSP at the scene.
