(Greenville, Ky.) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of an unidentified woman.
On Sunday, December 27, 2015 at approximately 2:29 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville, was notified by the Greenville Police Department in reference to the body of an unidentified female had been discovered in the rear seat of a vehicle.
On KSP arrival, Troopers found the body of a female in the rear seat area of a vehicle. The female was pronounced dead at the scene by Muhlenberg County Deputy Coroner Lee Williams. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow, December 27, 2015 at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville, KY.
The investigation is continuing by KSP Detective Lloyd Ray. The Greenville Police Department, Greenville Fire Department, Muhlenberg County EMS and the Muhlenberg County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.
