Motorists traveling in Union County need to be aware a section of KY 667 will be closed during the daytime through Friday, November 6th.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials indicate KY 667/Bottoms Road will be closed along the gravel section between KY 56 and KY 871 to allow a trackhoe with a cutter head to remove brush along the right of way.
According to officials, the worksite is north of Blackburn Landing near the zig-zag curves, so access will be maintained from KY 56 to the landing.
The roadway will close around 7:45 each weekday morning and is expected to reopen about 3:30 each afternoon.
