Motorists traveling KY 1917/Wolf Creek Road in Crittenden County need to be aware the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of the road on Tuesday.
Spokesman Keith Todd says KY 1917/Wolf Creek Road will be closed between KY 120 and the Shady Grove community around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday to allow a cross drain to be replaced. The road is expected to reopen to traffic around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Todd indicates there will not be a marked detour. He says local access will be maintained for property owners on each side of the closure.
The Crittenden County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to be at this site today (Monday) to do some prep work, which Todd says will occasionally require one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.
