Henderson County woman charged with manslaughter

A Henderson County woman has been charged with manslaughter in connection with a shooting death.

Henderson County Sheriff’s Department deputies and detectives responded to a residence in the 4000 block of Rudy Road at about 11 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025, in reference to a man who was deceased due to unknown circumstances.

Officers found Patrick Ryan Jobe, 40, deceased in the garage, according to a news release.

Detectives learned that Jobe’s girlfriend, Lauren Kate Jarvis, 36, was with him in the garage at the time of his death. She initially said that she did not know what happened to Jobe.

The Henderson County Coroner’s Office was also at the scene and was ready to transport Jobe from the residence. As Jobe’s body was being inspected by the coroner, detectives discovered a suspected gunshot wound on Jobe’s back.

As the investigation progressed, Detectives interviewed Jarvis at the Sheriff’s Office. As a result of the investigation, Jarvis was charged with second-degree manslaughter.

She is lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center. She is being held on a $100,000 full cash bond.
