Four local residents were injured over the weekend in a four-vehicle chain-reaction wreck in Henderson County.
According to Kentucky State Police, troopers determined the wreck occurred around 7:00 Saturday night when 33 year old Lisa Hogan of Morganfield was traveling westbound on US 60 West and was unable to stop the vehicle she was driving in time due to slowed traffic and crashed into the rear of a vehicle driven by 63 year old Shari Vickery of Shawneetown, Illinois, causing her vehicle to crash into the rear of a SUV driven by 57 year old Brenda Downing of Sturgis who was pushed into the rear of a vehicle driven by 31 year old Melissa Burkes of Corydon.
State Police indicate a passenger in Downing’s vehicle, 62 year old Robert Downing of Sturgis, Shari Vickery and a passenger in her vehicle, 66 year old Robert Vickery of Shawneetown, and Burkes were all transported to the emergency room at Methodist Hospital in Henderson for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
