STURGIS, KY (WMSK) – Authorities say a search warrant executed at a residence in Sturgis landed three local residents behind bars on drug possession charges.
Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Dame tells WMSK News deputies and Kentucky State Police executed the search warrant at 11906 US60W in Sturgis around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday. He says the search warrant netted the arrests of 25 year old William Clark and 54 year old Lysa Powell, both of Sturgis, and 30 year old Ashley Henshaw, of Morganfield, for first degree possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Clark also was charged for possession of marijuana. In addition, Deputy Dame reports Henshaw also had outstanding warrants in Union and Henderson counties.
All three subjects were lodged in the Union County Detention Center.
