Two Hopkins Co. residents arrested on warrants, meth, marijuana charges

Dawson Springs, KY (Hopkins County) – Around 3:00 p.m. Saturday Kentucky State Police say a trooper observed 39 year old Brent McKinney at his home at 3095 Niles Road in Dawson Springs, who was arrested on active warrants through Hopkins and Marshall Counties.

According to KSP, 29 year old Britta N Crayne, of Dawson Springs, was also at the residence and was taken into custody on a warrant through Hopkins County.

During the course of the investigation, the trooper and a deputies with the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reportedly found Crayne and Mckinney in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and items used to ingest controlled substances.

Both individuals were lodged at the Hopkins County Detention Center on the warrants, as well as the following charges:
1) Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Methamphetamine
2) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
3) Possession of Marijuana
