Team KAM Edges Out Team Titan for the Win!

Team members sponsored by Kentucky Association of Manufactures of Frankfort won the 2015 Trooper Island Golf Scramble two years in a row! The scramble was held at Panther Creek Golf Course outside of Owensboro on Friday, October 2, 2015.

The members include: (L to R) Chris Miller of Paducah, Nick Higdon of Fancy Farm, Daniel Miller of Paducah and Casey King of Georgetown, KY.

KAM shot an 11 under and Titan Contracting of Owensboro shot an 11 under. Both teams, who were tied, came to a draw on hole seven which KAM barely edged out Team Titan for the win. Team Titan has won past scrambles at this venue. This is KAM’s fourth year of playing in Post 16’s Trooper Island Golf Scramble.

KAM Team member Casey King also won the “Longest Drive” competition hole. He walked away with a 32” LED flat screen TV donated by Best Buy of Owensboro.

VFW Post Team member Rita Head of Owensboro won the “closest to the pin” competition hole. Gordon’s True Value of Owensboro gave her a new cordless Milwaukee Drill.
