Sturgis man uninjured when semi overturns and shuts down road in Henderson

A Sturgis man escaped injuries when the semi he was driving overturned in Henderson and shut down KY 136 W around 7:50 a.m. Friday morning.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, a Mack semi hauling grain for EWM Services of Morganfield driven by 26 year old Marcus A. Wilson of Sturgis was attempting to make a left turn onto Hwy 136-W from Hwy 60 W when the load of soybeans shifted and caused the semi to overturn on its side onto the right hand shoulder of the road, spilling most of its load.

Authorities indicate KY 136-W was shut down at the intersection for about an hour while the truck was turned upright and towed. Again, the sheriff’s office reports no one was injured in the accident.
