A McLean County man was injured when authorities say his fertilizer truck overturned Wednesday in Henderson County.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports the accident occurred around 12:50 in the 17-thousand block of Middle Delaware Road when 63 year old Nolan G. Howard of Calhoun was driving a farm fertilizer truck across a field and it overturned onto its side. Authorities say Howard was thrown from his seat and had to be extricated from the truck by emergency personnel.

According to the sheriff’s office, Howard was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
