Indiana State Police at Evansville Receives Two New Troopers

Indiana State Police welcomed two new troopers at its Evansville post.

According to Indiana State Police, Troopers Taylor Fox and Xander Welsh reported to the Evansville District Monday morning after they were among 46 graduates who graduated from the 75th Indiana State police Academy on November 19th at the south atrium of the Indiana State Capitol Rotunda.

25 year old Trooper Fox, who currently resides in Vanderburg County, is a native of Bedford and a 2009 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

22 year old Trooper Welsh, who also resides in Vanderburgh County, is a native of Belvidere, Illinois and a 2011 graduate of Belvidere North High School. He attended WyoTech College in Wyoming and received an Associate’s Degree in Business Management.

Both troopers will be assigned to Gibson County.
