PARIS, Ky. (AP) — Authorities say a farm worker found a human skill in a Bourbon County creek while checking on horses.
Bourbon County Coroner Dee Gee Roe tells news outlets that the skull was found Saturday at a Paris farm and taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort on Sunday.
Roe says there was no visible trauma to the skull. She says investigators could not determine a gender or age from the skull.
Roe says cadaver dogs searched the creek for miles over the weekend but did not find any other bones.
