An Owensboro woman injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 69 in Henderson shortly after midnight was charged with DUI.
Henderson Police say 23 year old Cheyenne Shouse reported she was driving her friend’s car northbound on I-69 around 12:05 Thursday morning when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail, crossed the median and southbound lanes and overturned.
Shouse was admitted to Methodist Hospital in Henderson for her injury, and her friend, 18 year old Cheyenne Omar of Henderson who was in the front passenger seat at the time of the accident, was uninjured.
Shouse was cited into court for DUI and failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance.
