HPD: Henderson man arrested after shots fired call, charged for tampering with physical evidence and other offenses

A shots fired called landed an 18 year old Henderson man behind bars facing charges of tampering with evidence, fleeing from police and other offenses.

Henderson Police were called to 771 Lakeview Drive Building 10 around 11:30 Wednesday night in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival, police say they observed subjects exiting the rear of the building and saw Samuel Green running out the front of the building toward Summit Drive. Officers apprehended Green on Woodfield Court.

A K-9 unit reportedly found a revolver inside a crawl space entrance at the building. During a search of Green, police say they found shells in his pocket that matched shells in the revolver.

Green was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for second degree fleeing and evading police, second degree disorderly conduct, tampering with physical evidence and a couple of alcohol-related offenses.
