Authorities are continuing to investigate several shots that were fired at a residence on Wright Street in Henderson over the weekend.

According to Henderson Police, officers responded to 1223 Wright Street around midnight Saturday where neighbors were waiting to show officers where several bullets struck 1223 B Wright Street after they heard between 7 to 10 shots fired. Police indicate three juveniles were inside the residence at the time of the shooting and later released to parents, or guardians. At this time, police say they do not know who fired the shots at the residence or why. The resident of apartment B, 34 year old Natalie Cowan, was reportedly not at home when the shooting occurred.

Police are continuing to investigate the first degree wanton endangerment case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Tracy Green at (270) 831-1295 or Henderson Crime Stoppers at (270) 831-1111.
