The Investigation Yielded a Positive DNA Match
MORGANFIELD, Ky. (June 12, 2018)— Kentucky State Police arrest a Henderson man today for rape after DNA linked him to the crime. The investigation was initiated by KSP on April 18, 2016 when an adult female stated she had been talking to Isaiah D. Johnson, 21 of Henderson on Facebook and planned to meet in Morganfield. Investigators say when they met, Johnson forcibly raped the victim.
Kentucky State Police Crime Lab confirmed the collected DNA is that of Johnson. The case was presented to the Union County Grand Jury on June 05, 2018 and an indictment warrant was subsequently issued for Johnson’s arrest. He was charged with Rape 1st Degree and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center in Henderson.
