A Henderson County woman was injured in a two vehicle wreck at the intersection of Center and Meadow Streets in Henderson Monday morning.
According to Henderson Police, officers responded to the scene of the traffic accident around 11:20 a.m. Monday where they determined a vehicle traveling south on Meadow Street driven by 39 year old Cedric Loston, of Marion, IL., struck a minivan traveling east on Center Street driven by 30 year old Ashley Conrad, of Hebbardsville. Police say the impact caused Conrad’s minivan to flip onto its hood and slide about 40 feet.
Police say this intersection is a four-way stop and both drivers stated they stopped prior to proceeding into the intersection, but officers indicate witness statements varied.
Conrad was transported by private vehicle to Methodist Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The Henderson Fire Department and Ambulance Service assisted police at the scene.
