On February 26, 2016, at 11:48 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a battery that had already occurred on Back Street in Patoka, Indiana.
According to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, when Officers arrived on scene everyone at the residence was separated and statements were obtained.
At the conclusion of the investigation, 49 year old Brian Birge was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with a count of Battery. Mr. Birge remains in custody on a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
